Kumul Minerals: Platinum Sponsor of the Geo-Science Conference 2024

Kumul Minerals Holdings Limited (KMHL), the National Minerals Company of Papua New Guinea, proudly serves as the Platinum Sponsor at the Geoscience, Exploration & Extraction (GEE) Conference 2024.

The GEE conference, held from August 7th to 9th at the APEC Haus in Port Moresby, brings together experts from the mining and petroleum industry in PNG and the wider region. The conference theme, “Research & Innovation in Geoscience, Exploration & Extractive for Sustainability,” is hosted by the Mineral Resources Authority (MRA) of PNG.

During the conference’s opening day, KMHL Managing Director Sarimu Kanu highlighted the company’s role as an independent commercial enterprise in the mineral sector. KMHL focuses on investments across the minerals value chain, including operational assets, prospective tenements, exploration strategies, critical minerals initiatives, and progress on the refinery feasibility study. Additionally, KMHL leads in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices within PNG.

Mr. Kanu emphasized KMHL’s readiness to participate in this dynamic period and expressed interest in collaborating with others to access critical minerals core and tailings.
